Super Rough Draft of posters.. Super rough!

  1. I think this is a nice design, and I like the use of a different color from your logo. I think that dropping one of the shapes off of the side is distracting. Keep going; it's a good direction.

  3. I like the colors and the whole idea of the bg with the person in the foreground. The only concern I have is the typeface use for your statement. I think a clean, san san-seif would work. overall good job.

  4. Great use of the logo shapes with the gymnast. I would take it a step further and do more sports. Wonderful concept...

  5. Like the design and the way you incorporated the logo. The only thing is, is that it feels a little tight and heavy in the bottom half. Maybe try spacing out the layers of images. Give it more negative space and be more dramatic with the contrasting of colors among the shapes. Overall great concept.

  6. Have you tried making the person a solid color, rather than having them transparent. All the different layers of the transparencies make the image hard to read. Also think about type placement.

  7. This is nice, but I think the bottom part of the poster is kind of missing, try to bring the gymnastic bar up a little bit more. Overall, I think this is a good direction and I would like to see more.

  8. this a good design, i would make it a bit more dramatic with the sport and really utilize that angle your working with. the colors are great for the design

  9. I love how you incorporated your logo in the background... it works really well! I also like how you used the texture from your logo as well and applied it to the person. The colors are great, but maybe you could use a darker grey for the person to make it pop a bit more. Right now the only color that's really standing out is the dark purple on part of your logo. So maybe lighten that a little, and darken the figure. Otherwise, great job!

  10. If you are going with the tag line "live the emotion" I'd want to see images of Athletes going through those emotions. The joy of winning a gold metal etc. SHOW IT:D. Find an image of those moments and you can maybe create a montage of that within your logo or within the shapes that you are using.

  11. i like the feel and the whole look of it but i feel like the athlete gets lost with the rest of shapes. I think that once you make it pop a little more it will look really nice

  12. I agree with some of the other comments, the athlete does get a bit lost in the background. i like the usage of a different color than your logo, purple however may not be the best choice? it seems off a bit. Nice concept.

  13. hey girl! I like your idea, but the color is not good. I think you should try more rustic looking colors. The shadow ideas could be really nice though. and your logo is coming out so nice! it looks so much better.

  14. I agree with the color issue. Once this is followed through, you will have a pretty solid design. Great start!

  15. I like that you added brush strokes to your logo. Also your idea of the athlete in two color works beautifully with movement, I think keeping with this design look will do greatly in a series of ads that I look forward in seeing from you.

  16. The way you are using the enlarged logo shape in the background works well and I like the idea of an athlete silhouette can work if it's more dynamic. It feels a bit bottom heavy too. The slogan typeface is not really working. I would go with a sanserif.

  17. good angle, good composition. color needs work. think less monochromatic.

very poor type selection with the mistral font. you already have a GREAT typeface with your logo. why change it now?

    tilt the logo too perhaps?
